The Farm and Food Leaders Internship program will focus on growing local foods, food security and food justice issues. Interns will support refugee farmers participating in ORIS’s agricultural training program by planting, harvesting, and distributing food. Additionally, youth will discuss and partake in creating access to local healthy food in low-income communities.
Application and Selection Process
2017 Enrollment is now open! Prospective participants should be ready to roll up their sleeves, work in the dirt, work as a team, and learn a lot about how local foods move through the community.
ORIS is a proud partner of both the My Turn and NH JAG programs.
